​Hello, I’m Anna and I am...  an artist. It’s not yet my 'career', but it’s

who I am.​​ For as long as I can remember, the process of observing

and creating has always fascinated me. When, at the age of 12,

I once again brought my drawing to the art teacher, she invited

me to the art studio at school. Where later I studied the very basics

of academic drawing and painting, art history and took part in performances.

​

My further path was rather determined by the location of my coastal hometown. So I got the profession of a marine engineer, in which my favourite process was, of course, technical drawing. Since then, more than twenty years have passed, I've started a family, changed 5 cities and two countries to live in.

One day, while scrolling through the pages of Instagram about 7 years ago, I saw an incredibly light, but confident and professional work done in watercolour technique. Since then, I have not parted with this magical, but often underrated material. A little later, my desire for exploration brought collage, oil and pastel into my life. 

​

Art, for me, is a silent conversation between nature and one's soul. It’s about capturing the essence of a moment, freezing time, and inviting others to share in the experience. So, as you explore my portfolio, I hope you feel the same wonder that fuels my creativity.
